Hi, I am a teacher and I like the demonstration that WL used with the tubes that
made sounds at different frequencies. Does anyone know what those tubes are
and where I can find them?

Hello,

I am considering taking this course but I am very new to the Open CourseWare experience. I am wondering about the need for a course text. Should the book recommended for this course be purchased or is it available for free online with the course?

Any other opinions, suggestions, advice would be more than appreciated.

Thank you very much.

Lecture 15 - Calculation

Did anyone notice that at 34:50, Prof. Lewin does a calculation error?
0.193 * 2 = 0.386 and not 0.396.
And this is after he says "I don't even need my calculator, I can do that by heart" :)

Note: I think Prof. Lewin is a genius and his lectures are extraordinary. It's just kinda funny that no one noticed this error :)

physics help

I am new to this forum; however, I need help with some basic physics problems. I understand the bulk of these problems, but a few factors/variables are confusing the math...at least for me.

If I throw a ball of mass .6kg at an initial velocity of 35m/s and at an angle of 55 degrees above the horizontal with a horizontal wind force of 4.0N (though this is unrealistic), what is the range if thrown into the wind and if thrown with the wind? I know it's similar to basic projectile motion problems, just with mass and resistance. ???

Tell Dr Nurmiati Amir SPKJ that I like Her Book

For My Friends :

Dr Trevino Pakasi (Community Medicine) now in Holland for His PhD,
and his sister Dr Levina Pakasi.
Dr Danny Pattiradjawane (Primary Care).

or Anyone here,

Hello Guys,

Can you suggest any name from your department (or may be yourselves) to collaborate on Schwingungsmedizin ( a German Term for Oscillatory Medicine ) ?

My understanding postulates that this kind of Quantum-Wave approach is very suitable

for Psychosomatic Illnesses, which rank in Top-Ten Diseases in the city of Jakarta and

other Big Cities.

However I need some back-up in Molecular Psychiatry and a little second opinion from

Danny in terms of Kantian Logic.

Please tell the Boys and Girls at Jalan Kimia, be they Dr Elvyra SPKJ or Dr Nurmiati Amir,

who writes on Neuro-Biological Explaination on Depression. Tell Dr Nurmiati Amir that I

like the book.

For Un-noted names who are interested in Quantum Physics and Medicine, can also

participate in this special occation.
